Representative Maria Syms Addresses Harvard Kennedy School's Women and Public Policy Program

Representative Maria Syms (R-28) spoke today at the Harvard Kennedy School's Women and Public Policy Program regarding opportunities and challenges for women in government.

"It was my honor to be invited to speak to the members of the Harvard Women and Public Policy Program about ways we can promote women's empowerment, overcome gender bias and provide equal leadership opportunities for women and men in our government and political institutions," said Representative Syms. "This is a particularly relevant time for Arizona and our nation to have this important conversation as we work toward impactful solutions."

Representative Syms received her Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2014.
